While Covid-19 is rapidly taking down the world, I am building a website.
Covid is out of control, and my photography feels more important to me than ever before.
During apocalyptic times, the arts are invaluable. They capture our horror, our fear, our overwhelming terror when death jumps in our path. They bring us to our innermost feelings, and they offer the possibility of being alive.
Art provides a reminder of what is familiar and still whole. In art we see again our connections with one another and the humanity we have not lost. (March, 2020)
